2023 will be our greatest festival since beginning seven years ago! In addition to our Bach concerts and our array of great performers, world-renowned pianist Richard Goode will perform one of Beethoven’s greatest works, the Diabelli Variations. BVF will present two first-time performances at the festival, Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and Brandenburg Concerto No. 1. In association with the Portland Museum of Art, we will again feature a free concert paired with great artwork. That’s why we are brimming with enthusiasm as we bid farewell to 2022.
Our ardent supporters have requested that we return to June, so we will hold our festival from Tuesday, June 20 through Tuesday, June 27 at St. Luke’s Cathedral, Etz Chaim Synagogue, and the Portland Museum of Art.
Anyone who has attended the Bach Virtuosi Festival appreciates the caliber of our musicians. Take a few moments to look at what Renée Jolles, Sherezade Panthaki, and Arthur Haas have been doing this past fall or have a look into their upcoming performances in 2023. We can all be very proud!
We have put together a brief collage, five video clips of performances from the past two years. We think you are going to enjoy reliving these great performances. Watch the video below.
