Can’t Miss Classical Event of the Summer!

~ The Boston Globe,
Classical Music Critics’ Picks

Message from the Director

Our 2025 season was one of great excitement, and we are eager to start planning for 2026. We have some exciting news that we will be sharing this fall.

In 2026, we will celebrate 11 years in Portland and three years in New York City. Such a dream that so many people love the Bach Virtuosi Festival and our interpretations of J.S. Bach. Several of our concerts in both cities sold out before the first notes were played.

As always, our concerts will be in the second or third week of May and June, so save those dates. We will announce specific days in the fall of 2025.

Mid-May 2026 in NYC
Mid-June 2026 in Portland

Whether you join us in NY, Maine or at both, you will be moved by the incomparable sonatas, cantatas, partitas, concerti and arias of the world’s greatest composer.

Thank you,

Lewis Kaplan

Lewis Kaplan Director of the Bach Virtuosi Festival

“Sharing the stage with Lewis Kaplan was an extraordinary experience for me. The evening was a fusion of ideas and art that was greater than the sum of our individual talents, and I am grateful to have been a part of it.”

(Senator King also participated in our Brotherhood/Sisterhood video in 2020)
